PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast collagen-based dermal
fillers are sterile devices composed of highly
purified human-based collagen that is dispersed
in phosphate-buffered physiological saline containing
0.3% lidocaine. CosmoDerm is a non-cross-linked
formulation used in the treatment of superficial
lines, whereas CosmoPlast is cross-linked and
is primarily used in the treatment of more pronounced
wrinkles.
CosmoDerm 1 - Purified human-based collagen 35
mg/mL, dispersed in saline. Indicated to treat
fine lines, wrinkles and shallow scars. For thin-skinned
areas. No skin test required.
CosmoPlast - Purified human-based collagen 35
mg/mL, cross-linked with glutaraldehyde dispersed
in saline. Indicated to treat deep lines, furrows
and scars. No skin test required.
Packaged as 6 single-use-only disposable syringes
ready for use.
