Some Breasts are Lifted Internally
It’s not widely available yet, but on the medical horizon are new and coming ways to lift and support sagging breasts by inserting implants that act like internal bras.
Many cosmetic surgery patients have inquired about having a breast lift, or mastopexy, when nursing or normal aging cause the breasts to droop.
When plastic surgeons perform a breast lift, they usually remove some skin from the upper part of the breast to bring it back to a more upright, perky position. (Read more about breast lift.) That can cause some long scars, but fortuantely over time, they will lighten and will be hard to see.
However, some surgeons lift the breasts by inserting the equivalent of an internal bra. For instance, cosmetic surgeons in Istanbul, Turkey, have developed a titanium mesh insert that is surgically implanted under the breasts. To hold the tissues up, they then attach supports from the bra to the patients’ ribs and chest muscles. (View before and after breast lift pictures with the internal titanium bra.) Scarring is reduced because the doctors only enter the breast through the areola, the dark tissue around the nipples. About 60 women have had the procedure so far.
In Israel, a company has developed what it calls the Minimally Invasive Mastopexy (MIM). The procedure requires two small holes to insert a push-up bra under the skin of the lower breasts. But the new technique, known as the Cup&Up, is not yet available in the U.S.
Both are not yet available in the U.S. and will have to be approved for use by the FDA prior to it becoming available at yoour plastic surgeon’s office.
What do you think? Would you have an internal bra procedure?

I am post op full mastopexy with no implants
Feeling delighted with my result even only after 12 days
Scaring is very similar to a mastopexy, plus this procedure must cause some confusion at airport security surely?
