Botox Competitor: Snake Venom??
Cleopatra took one to her breast. (We know what you’re thinking! No, not for breast augmentation!)
Another one got Adam and Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden.
Now a snake – or more properly, snake venom – is allegedly giving Botox a run for its money by trying to take a huge bite out of wrinkles.
A Swiss firm, Pentapharm Ltd., working with the venom of the Temple Viper snake, has synthesized a rub-on compound, Syn-Ake, that supposedly keeps muscles relaxed, smoothed and unwrinkled.
Oh, did we say? No plastic surgeons are needed to perform injections.
Suffice it to say that Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly using it.
But if you think this is some snake-in-the-grass marketing scheme, check out the report for yourself at Beauty Brains where they take beauty products very seriously.
