After Plastic Surgery: Still Take Care of Yourself!

Liposuction, Plastic Surgery, Tummy Tuck Comments (0)

According to a British newspaper survey, some people in England think that diet and exercise are not necessary.

Instead, they tend to just report to a practitioner of plastic and cosmetic surgery to take care of their bodies for them!

First the men: The Sunday Telegraph in London took a poll of 1000 men’s health habits and discovered  41 percent do no physical activity other than going to work, doing household chores and working in their gardens.

Moreover, 46 percent reported eating:

  • Whatever they like,
  • Twice as much fast food and carry out dishes than a decade ago

When women were asked how they would take care of their bodies in mid-life, 23 percent said they would just have plastic surgery.

If those attitudes are widespread on this side of the big pond, more people should know that Liposuction:

  • Is not for general weight control
  • Will allow future weight gain (but not in the treated area)
  • May not be done at all on the grossly overweight.

To skip more work-outs, some English women opt for:

  • Liposuction of the thighs and upper arms
  • Tummy tucks

But the process can also work in reverse: once a patient sees how much better she or he looks after liposuction or tummy tuck, they increase their workout schedule to maintain the good look and not gain weight elsewhere on the body.

Does your workout concentrate on any special areas?
